Des is a Panamanian attorney and very passionate about bringing awareness to her Afro Latin - Caribbean culture, travel, and jewelry with a purpose. This is why She created a meet-up group to connect with other Afro Latina women in Atlanta and exchange their love for their culture with others. She is also the founder of Afro Latina Travel, a platform dedicated to portraying Afro Latina women/ Afro Latinx that enjoys traveling.
