1987 Bitchin’ Camaro IROC Z28 – OHS 123

September 04, 2019

My 1987 Bitchin' Camaro IROC Z28 with T-Tops is a real sweet ride. I got it after my father died. In his older years it was the car of his dreams. He bought it way back in the early to late 90s. I have such a clear memory when he and my mother moved to Boise, Idaho. My father drove up to my house in a big U-Haul pulling the Camaro on a trailer. A few years later he lost his battle with cancer and I acquired the car. I basically "sat on it" for 10 years. At one point decided it was time to start an interior restoration and get the car in driving condition. After many years and many dollars that car in one of the coolest things I own.

Thanks for listening! I invite you to share this podcast, offer a comment or leave some feedback.

Show Notes:

I now own my father's 1987 Camaro. I inherited it when he passed away.
Had it "on-hold" for 10 years behind my martial art school and in storage.
Took about three years to being it back to original status.
I call it the Batmobile, The Dark Horse Buddha, or the Bitchin' Camaro.
