Hey everyone, I’m Mike, she’s Sophie, and that’s Brenda, and we’re On the Road with Mickey! This is Season 2, Episode 20 for May 17, 2021, and our feature topic today is What is your Perfect Disney Day? We each devised our perfect Disney day, and we look forward to hearing what your perfect Disney day is as well! Grab a drink, relax, and join us as we talk about all the things that we came up with! Here’s our rundown of what we talked about:

• Cheddar from the Big Cheese
  
  • Mike: In further moves towards a return to normal, Walt Disney World and Universal have reduced or are reducing the physical distancing requirements from six feet to three feet. However, at Walt Disney World specifically, the six feet distance is still in force in all dining locations, merchandise stores, and areas where guests can temporarily remove their masks (i.e. relaxstation stations).
    
  • Sophie: Disney has launched a new line of sensory-friendly plush characters! Stuffed animals are always a great thing, but these plush characters feature a 2.5 pound weight that can be removed, and the material is softer for those who have issues with how certain things feel. You can get them at Disney Springs and they retail for $39.99. Current characters are Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Eeyore, and Pooh.
    
  • Brenda: Over at Ghirardelli’s in Disney Springs, you have got to check out the Ghirardelli Ocean Beach Sundae! It’s $12.95, and features Vanilla Ice Cream, Sea Salt, Caramel Sauce, and handmade Hot Fudge topped with Whipped Cream, Sea Salt, and a Ghirardelli SQUARES Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate candy.
    
  • Mike: Lastly, we’ve got a bit of gossip! Nothing confirmed, so take this with not just a grain of salt, but perhaps a 5 pound bag…there is a rumor that Epcot Forever could return to World Showcase Lagoon for a limited time later this year! Personally, I just don’t see this happening. With the work that’s been done for the platforms for Harmonious, I think that would get in the way of the show. What do you think?       • Getting to MK before rope drop. Doing pictures in front of the castle, grabbing Starbucks for family members. Being by the rope when it’s dropped in Adventure Land.. then walking as fast as we can to get to Big Thunder, then Splash Mt., If the crowd hasn’t caught up, doing both again. Then over to Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Tiki Birds, .. time for lunch at Pecos Bills, then Dole Whip for dessert. Relax… Then Haunted Mansion and we let the rest of the day fall in place. Mickey pretzels late afternoon… Late dinner at Poly so we are on the beach for the water parade.
