Hebrews 12:25 is a common scripture where a lot of doctrines declare one can lose their salvation. However, we had nothing to do with salvation other than accepting Christ’s invitation. He is the one that saved, not us and therefore we can’t lose what He has done.
We can’t lose focus on what’s most important. We are a generation of vanity. We think the more we have the better we are. This way of living is all in vain. We must do something day in and day out and that is to turn away from the world and turn towards the Bible. The simple truths of God are where we need to turn. We should make sure we are ready at all times not just on Sundays or Wednesdays. We must be ready at all times to be the instrument of God. To be used by God always.
You, others, God, there are many things that can turn a person. We must be willing to turn through repentance.
Proverbs 4:28
No matter what you choose, there is a purpose and reaping. If you make your mind up and attend church, there is an outcome. If you make a choice and do not attend church, there is an outcome. How many times do you miss church attendance and then want the help of God?
