If the end of time was midnight tonight, then what time is it now? The hour is 11, the minutes are 59, and the seconds are quickly ticking away.
What will occur in the last days?
1 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
People will be unfaithful to God.
Look around at our society. Not in a country where God is hardly there but in our own where God was first and foremost. Two things linked together, a great falling away and the son of perdition is to be revealed. One can’t help to notice that many churches are lacking in attendance. A virus that has caused people to be frightened to the point that they can’t attend church worship but still go about their daily routines. People are at the point of rejecting God yet listen to other fleshly persons.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
Unholy in every way.
Is it dangerous to allow your children to get out of your site? There are people amounts us the people would rather kill than love. People grow more unholy hourly. We see people that used to attend church, claimed to be saved, yet walk away to live an unholy lifestyle.
2 Timothy 4:4
Turning from sound doctrine.
People receive with joy within their hearts the false teaching of the gospel. The Word of God is the only means of saving power.
So are we in the last days? According to the above scriptures, yes.
1John 2:18
According to John in his witness, it was the last days then. In the original scripture, we see scoffers making fun of the statement of the last days approaching. There are many anti-Christ’s that exists to this day. Who is the main one, no one knows yet. It was the last time then and it’s the last time now. God is not bound by time and yet as long as the word of God is being fulfilled He can come at any moment. That makes it the last days because no one knows when He’ll return. The only thing that keeps Him from coming right now is His mercy. The next agenda on His time clock is the rapture of the church. There is a day coming that this will be true and the naysayers will be left out. If the date was tied to any point in history or further than that would indicate that “you” have time to be saved. God never promised you another second. God is NOT slack concerning His promise of coming back. As a lost person He is showing you His love and mercy to making it right with Him, be saved before He calls an end. The rapture will take place so fast you as a lost person will not have time to pray. Scripture tells us that at the moment in the blink of an eye. Make sure you are ready before that second approaches.
