Sin = Death

May 26, 2021

We live in a part of the world that is probably the safest place to be, America. However, the most dangerous thing about this country is sin, and it's running rampant throughout. The horrible thing about sin especially now is people say good is bad and bad is good. Many don’t believe that they live in sin. So how bad is sin?

Sin costs something each time it’s committed. We get numb to the fact that sin is a heinous thing unto God. Death followed sin and it’s has been this way since the beginning of time. It’s never changed. Sin is wicked and it’s expensive. We’ve allowed sin to be comfortable. With Adam and Eve and when they sinned they seen that they were naked. God had to kill something to cover them. It wasn’t the animal's fault and yet its life was taken to cover their sin. The wages of sin is death and always will be.

We let things go knowing they are sinful. We let things happen knowing it’s wrong. We will tell a lie and then say it was just a little white lie, a fib. What or how would you be if you had to see something bleed out for you to live a clean life? It was and is a single sin that separates us from God. Every sin you commit should require a little lamb to be laid in your lap and a knife in your hand. Just because Jesus paid the ultimate price doesn’t make it okay.

Romans 2:4
Sin must be dealt with. In Heaven, there is zero sin. None! Only the blood of Christ can cleanse a person of their sin and then God’s seal is placed over them. What a shameful thing that we must beg the Christian people to repent of their sins. So you think you don’t have anything to repent of? You don’t read your Bible enough to know if you’ve sinned then.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-22
16 commands in these 10 verses. Don’t start turning your ears off because you think you’re sinless.

Jesus Christ died for one person that did one sin. Why because God is holy and it takes Christ to deal with just that ONE sin.
Put a price on Christ. What is He worth? Thousands, millions, maybe billions? Maybe you’d say that Christ is priceless. Yet we will sin over $1.
