What’s Your Faith Walk?

April 21, 2021

People without Christ mock those that are Christians because they are blindly led along by something that can’t be seen. Walking by faith and not by sight is a privilege. We as Christians should not walk by the flesh. Most people in general state their lives are not what they want them to be.

In the Old Testament, we see several that chose to walk by faith.
We tend to worry more about our 5 senses than we should about what God wants. We try to stick God in those categories and He doesn’t fit there. Have you ever been scared to let go and allow God to tell you what to do or go? Have you ever made the statement that “those people I don’t want in my church”?

God told Abraham to leave the place where he was comfortable. Abraham told his wife, we gotta go, so, they left. Abraham had that small amount of faith and trusted God that wherever he went, God would take care of him.

Joseph walked by dreams and when he did, his brothers hated him for it. When Joseph told his brothers that God told him that he would reign over them, they couldn’t believe it and neither could Joseph.

We should be living each day like it’s our last, not fleshly but spiritually. We should be doing the things that please God. Let your testimony of others be that you loved them no matter what. Don’t be a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”, Christian. What’s your faith walk? Are you the type that puts limits on God? Do you try to strike up a deal with God, if He does this then you’ll do that?
