Mom Inspired Show with Amber Sandberg
Uncomfortable staying the same or uncomfortable changing: Amber Sandberg: 300
Are you avoiding going after what you truly want because you are afraid of being uncomfortable?
Today, I am talking about what it looks like to be uncomfortable staying the same even if you think it's comfortable and why we avoid making changes because we perceive it will feel more uncomfortable. I share my story of when I lost over 50lbs in 2019 and how I had to decide that in order to get to my goals I had to be ok with being uncomfortable. What I like to tell my coaching clients that the truth was, I was uncomfortable already where I was at. I was uncomfortable in the clothes I was wearing, not being able to wear what I wanted, not being able to move the way I was used too, being uncomfortable not feeling like myself. So I knew that I could stay uncomfortable staying the same or move in the direction I wanted too even if that brought on a different kind of uncomfortableness. Hear what we have to say about this topic and more on the podcast.
