It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

September 24, 2021

It isn’t unique to suffer from what is going on in the world and in our own lives. Pain is within all of us at some level. In this episode, Oren Matteson and Derek Bylsma talk with Rahsaan Nurullah about how it’s okay to not be okay.

There is so much uncertainty in the world and it is common for most people to mask their pain and to mask what they are really feeling. People cope with pain in many ways, whether it is Netflix, alcohol, food, and more. What many people don’t realize is these are pauses in pain, not solutions. These distractions may temporarily treat the symptoms, but in reality, it is just delaying the pain until you confront it. What people are slowly becoming more aware of is that it’s okay to not be okay.
