This week on the Midwest Misfits we are talking to Crystal Rhoades.  She is serving as the commissioner of the Nebraska Public Service Commission for District 2 and currently seeking reelection.  She also previously served as the Douglas County Democratic Party Chairwoman.  In this episode, you are going to learn about exactly what does the public service commission does and why it is important to know your locally elected officials and who you are voting for this fall.  We also talk about why Douglas county Dems don’t always see eye-to-eye with the state party and what, if anything, we can do about.
