Schools in the U.S. are heading back into the classroom this week or in upcoming weeks and the stress for teachers is on the rise.

A survey released last month found that rates of stress were higher among teachers than most other working adults during the pandemic.

Today, I am honored to bring on a familiar face of WSIC radio, a former educator, and retired weather forecaster, Lisa Mozer. Lisa is now facilitating peer support groups and advocating for self-care and teacher appreciation. She is also and the project director of Up Wind Project Inc, a nonprofit entity focusing on mental health awareness and serving teachers.
