A Journey I Deserve with Kiah Bachma | *SPORT SERIES | MFM 93 RADIO SHOW WSIC 105.9FM #69

June 20, 2021

The creator of A Journey I deserve mantra is a former D-2 college basketball player from Hiwassee College. The first year of college she focused heavily on her academics which landed her on the dean’s list as a freshman. During the 2nd semester of her freshman year, Kiah was in a serious car crash resulting in a back injury that would later end her basketball career.

Luckily for her, she would then transfer to another school on an academic scholarship. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Communication Studies and represented the school as a college ambassador. It was a very organic transition that happened almost immediately right after college for Kiah to begin work as a marketing professional.

The love for her community came from years of playing on travel teams and seeing the real impact it has on people to feel they are a part of something bigger than themselves.

A Journey I deserve Mantra

Today her mission is to use her online platform to empower others to live the life they deserve. Kiah created “A journey I deserve as a mantra/affirmation” for others to implement into their lives. Sharing her love for fashion, beauty, motherhood with a heavy focus on mindfulness she has truly created a community where others can feel seen and embody the “a journey I deserve” mantra too.
