What is your personal definition of success?
I think it is all about fulfilling your passions. Being involved in things you love, in my case that is country music.
Can you share the steps you take daily to improve?
I spend a good deal of time each day trying to hone my craft of songwriting.
What is your advice for someone making an important decision?
Be sure what it is you want before you move forward. It is very important to follow a path that fits you as an individual.
Tell me about a specific moment that set you on the path you’re on now?
When I was very young my Dad was performing with Porter Wagner, without any warning he called me up on the stage and I sang Got A Tiger By The Tail. It was an incredible feeling and right then I knew I wanted to perform country music.
If you could recommend one book for our audience, what would it be?
I enjoy books about the history of country music.
Which character traits do you value most?
Honesty, and work and morals.
How do you push through tough times?
Sometimes it is very difficult. It is extremely important to stay positive and surround yourself with supportive people.
What inspires you?
Living the country life.
How do you manage and prioritize opportunities?
Not really sure, I am able to stay focused most of the time on what needs to be done.
What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
Keep writing music, don't stop!
