Original Science Fiction – Makeshift Stories
Dissonant Frequency
An inventor rediscovers the work of a 20th-century composer exploring the effects of hypersonic sound on the human body and creates a device that can cure cancer. However, to keep control of the process, he hires a down and out performer who pretends to have mystic healing powers. Under the stress of success and fame, the partnership begins to fall apart, forcing the inventor to take drastic measures to protect the process from exploitation.
