25 – Alexander Buriak on Hard Money Loans

May 01, 2019

Steve and Alex discuss hard money loans for real estate investments as well as the real estate market in general.

Hard money loans, also called bridge loans, are specialized lending instruments designed to assist real estate developers and house flippers who want to develop or renovate a property quickly and then sell it for a profit. These short-term loans are not generally available from traditional lending institutions such as banks but are offered instead by private lenders such as Investor Loan Source.

Guest: Alexander Buriak, D.C. – COO at Investor Loan Source

Our process for providing real estate investor funding is unique, as we place more emphasis on the hard asset and value of the collateral (property), and less on the borrower. Our asset-based real estate investment loan model means we can provide more real estate money to more investors than is available from standard bank loan models. If you’ve been seeking out a hard money loan for a real estate investment, you know that finding real estate investment property lenders who will loan cash for buying and fixing properties with a quick timeline is difficult. But this isn’t so with ILS. At ILS, providing real estate investor loans is our #1 business; it’s all we do. We offer several business real estate loan products designed to serve a variety of investor and property profiles, including owner-financed loans.
