JCMS Editor-in-chief Dr Kirk Barber speaks with Dr Christian Murray, a co-author of a vast systematic review of the literature for patient indications for micrographic surgery. Dr Murray is an accredited Moh's surgeon, associate professor of medicine at Women's College at the University of Toronto and director of the ACMS-accredited Mohs Surgery Fellowship at the University of Toronto. This interview brings forward the difficulties in producing such a comprehensive study that is a product of a multidisciplinary group of authors, each of whom came to it with their own perspective. The end result is a remarkably well-reviewed, evidence-based indication for micrographic surgery.
