We're turning our spotlight on professional actor and stuntman, Calvin Ahn. After graduating from Oberlin College, Calvin has immersed himself in studying stage combat, film combat and has trained in martial arts for over 20 years. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has studied Kajukenbo, a traditional Northern Shaolin Kungfu and Jeet Kune Do. He currently is an instructor in JKD and Kungfu in NYC, as well as a NASM-certified personal trainer. As an actor, he has has appeared on such shows as Law & Order: SVU, Late Night w/Conan O'Brien and Gotham. As a stuntman, he has appeared on such shows as Cobra Kai, Lovecraft Country, FBI and many others. Aaron speaks with him about acting, fighting, and making it happen as an Asian American artist.
