John A. Hoda graduated in 1975 with a B.S. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Furthermore, he is a former Police Officer and Insurance Fraud Investigator. However, for the last 22 years he has operated a successful Private Investigations business. In fact, many of his cases have made the headlines of the Philadelphia Inquirer and the New Haven Register.  Moreover, John has sat on the boards of the both the National Association of Legal Investigators and the Connecticut Association of Licensed Private Investigators. Furthermore, he is a Certified Legal Investigator and a Certified Fraud Examiner.   Additionally, he has written numerous articles for PI Magazine and other publications. As well as a being a frequent guest blogger and webinar presenter on Investigative Interviewing.


Notably, John is host of the popular podcast, My Favorite Detective Stories.  To clarify, he describes it as a “…podcast for listeners who want to be inspired, informed and entertained by great detective stories.”  New episodes come out every Tuesday.
