While we were in Ireland this summer, we sat in a little cafe that was created by a loving community in Kilcullen in County Kildare, called The Bridge Camphill Community. It is an intentional community that includes people of all abilities in an attempt to create a meaningful and sustainable life. On that day, we talked about the blockages to our memory, that veil of forgetfulness that also prevents a meaningful and sustainable life in each one of us.
