In conversation with Fiona Patten MLC - Hide and Seek

January 04, 2016

Having lobbied both State and Federal Parliaments for over two decades, Fiona Patten co-founded the Australian Sex Party.

While unsuccessful in winning a Senate seat on two occasions, everything changed in December of 2014.  It was Fiona’s second Victorian State election campaign and persistence paid off, seeing Fiona elected to the Legislative Council as the Member for Northern Metropolitan Region.

Recorded live on 2 December 2015, Fiona Patten MLC joined JOY 94.9 broadcaster Dean Beck in conversation at Hares & Hyena’s Hare Hole, to reveal what she has learnt 12 months later.

With no question off limits and an intimate audience full of supporters, Fiona’s signature style flourishes.  Her frank, forthright and fearless account of parliamentary shenanigans delivers a rare glimpse into life at Spring Street.

Discover why Fiona Patten is afforded respect from all sides of the House, what she has achieved so far and what is on the top of her agenda for 2016?
