Chicago is one of the few cities in the United States with a thriving independent music venue circuit not dominated by Live Nation or AEG. We are joined by Molly Mobley (Talent Buyer – Empty Bottle) and Brent Heyl (Talent Buyer Thalia Hall, Empty Bottle; Partner Empty Bottle Presents) to discuss the value and importance of independent music venues and how they are adopting in light of challenges presented by COVID 19. We also discuss our favorite music events at these venues and what makes these spaces unique and reflective of Chicago.
