About the Show
Welcome to Health Hats, learning on the journey toward best health. I am Danny van Leeuwen, a two-legged, old, cisgender, white man with privilege, living in a food oasis, who can afford many hats and knows a little about a lot of healthcare and a lot about very little. Most people wear hats one at a time, but I wear them all at once. We will listen and learn about what it takes to adjust to life's realities in the awesome circus of healthcare. Let's make some sense of all this.

The Show
I’m taking a week off. Due to a cranky web host with four website and email outages in 3 weeks, I’m transferring from BlueHost to GoDaddy. I need to give the transfer another week to stabilize. Should be seamless to you, thanks to my web/social media coach, Kayla Nelson, guiding me through this fraught process. Plus, I can use the break from the weekly routine - 129 episodes in 132 weeks (2 ½ years)!! Love and prayers to Casey Quinlan and Bob Doherty for best health and peace. Grateful to my sponsor, Abridge, and you all for your ongoing support. Returning next week in full glory. Happy Father’s Day. I bought a blue raffia (African palm) crocheted Helen Kaminsky cap at Salmagundi's in Jamaica Plain to celebrate life! Onward.
