How two friends raised over $3 Million to support female entrepreneurs with Mary Fahr.

The timing of this episode could not have been better! With Christmas right around the corner, it was such an honour to share Mary and Sara's story about how they have now raised over $325,000, for GROW, which is being matched by the Canadian Government and will result in a little over $3 Million in aid.

We all want to do good in the world, but for whatever reason we let our everyday life get in the way. Fortunately, these two friends set out to find a way to change poverty, and have directly affected the lives of more than 3,200 families through GROW (Greater Rural Opportunities for Women) project.

$3 Million and 3,200 families are numbers that would dumbfound most people. I know when Mary told me during our interview, I had to pick my jaw up off the ground before I could continue. When they first started, they had a goal of $16,000, which is still an incredible feat, but as the story broke and once they completed their journey more and more donations poured it.

Their story inspires me because it shows that when you are passionate about something and you take action can you can a massive impact. I know Mary and Sarah didn't think they would be changing the lives of 3,200 families, but they did.
