Mindfulness of Mental Mood
Today we sit with a practice in which we look at the mood of the mind. By tuning in to the general mood, we can see how the mind is responding to experience, not just with thoughts, but with the overall state of mind.
Metta for the Body
My body hurts today, so I thought I would offer a practice I enjoy doing with the body. We are going to practice by extending metta toward the body. We will move through the body, extending metta toward each different part of the body.

Mudita Meditation
Today we are doing a mudita practice, extending appreciative joy to ourselves, a good friend, a neutral person, and a difficult person in our lives.
Body Scan and Awareness
This meditation is recorded from our online meditation group on Tuesdays at 6:00pm. We start with a body scan, and open our awareness to see what is present in the body.
Mudita Meditation
Today we are practicing mudita, or appreciative joy. This is the practice of rejoicing in the joy that others experience.

Today we are practicing compassion, cultivating a caring heart toward the suffering of ourselves and others in our lives.
