Housing Forum Held In Manchester: A housing forum held in Manchester brought state and local officials together – along with a large crowd of local residents – to discuss how to create more housing in town.
Artificial Intelligence – From Tech To Farming: Artificial intelligence has been making rapid advances since a forum was held in Manchester in 2019. We hear from one of those panelists, and learn how AI, as it’s known, has many applications, including, and maybe importantly for Vermont farmers, in agriculture.
Teaching English For New Americans: At the Manchester Community Library, a new class has been launched to teach basic English to those arriving here from another country, and need to master a new language as quickly as possible.
Junior Firefighters Arriving: Vermont’s volunteer fire departments have struggled to stay fully staffed in recent years, but down in Arlington, a junior fire fighter program is drawing in more youngsters than before.
Awarding Excellence: Awards were handed out to several local historical societies during the annual conference of the Vermont Historical Society, held this year at the Manchester Community Library. One of them was to the Manchester Historical Society for a computer app detailing a walking tour of Manchester.
