Girl Resurrected
ESL Tutoring & Learning That Chronic Illness Doesn't Define Me | Episode 1
While chronic illness and disabilities aren't all fun and games, that doesn't mean we don't have to talk about it. So, that's what I'm gonna do–spread awareness during what I just found out was Disability Pride Month–ha!
In the first-ever episode of Girl Resurrected, I talked about:
- all of the different jobs I have worked before and after I found out about my chronic illness (and an exciting story about how I accidentally branded my self with a vat of glorified tortilla chip oil)
- why teaching English online works for me and not other options like transcription and data entry (although they may work for you)
- how I realized that my chronic illness didn’t define me through getting a job and why that was so hard for me to understand (it all stems back to my childhood).
- why I recorded this episode two times
- tl;dr: just listen to the podcast!
