This episode is the first of it's type here on the Fuego Magic podcast. I decided to have Stephanie Betsill come back to chat about her transition and growth over the last year of shooting. from her website Somehow I’ve been blessed enough to call Maui home since I was 7 years old. Living on an island in the middle of the ocean has shaped who I am: an outdoors lover, traveler, hiker, beach goer… pretty much anything outside-er. Who am I kidding… I also love spending my days cozying up inside. You know those things that make you feel truly alive? For me, that’s photography. I feel the most fulfilled when I get to hang out with an amazing couple and freeze time for them. Because these moments don’t last forever. We take photos not just for ourselves, but for the future generations. So they can see their story and where they came from. As much as I love to see my images on social media or printed, knowing they’ll be looked at in 50 years makes me the most excited. Photography aside, I’m also very passionate about living a simple life. “Less but better” is my life motto. Did I mention my brand new husband and I live in 300 sq ft? I’m a huge advocate for living a fulfilling life.
