First Person Storyteller

FPS Episode 7: Brotherly Love and the Written Word

January 18, 2016

In Episode 7 of First Person Storyteller, I interview Graham, who built a bond with his brother and a love for game storytelling by playing the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at a very young age. Graham also learned to read thanks in large part to the narrative style of the game and the necessity to read text to complete the game's quests and puzzles.

Graham was my very first interviewee for First Person Storyteller, back in September, and I'm eternally grateful for his willingness to do an interview with a random stranger based on some hair-brained idea i had a few months ago. Now that I have sen the podcast blossom into the platform it is today, I feel comfortable airing my first interview, in which I feel I sound a bit unpolished (to put it kindly).

Thank you all for listening! I'm excited about where the podcast is going in 2016!

Next week, my good friend Eric will share his very intimate story of how the Last of Us carried him through one of the most emotionally trying times in his life. It's one you won't want to miss, so make sure to subscribe to the podcast on iTunes and tune in in two weeks!
