Episode 5 of First Person Storyteller features gamers Austin and Lauren, whose relationship is grounded, among other interests, in gaming. Austin and Lauren tell their story, in their own words, on First Person Storyteller. They talk about how gaming has blossomed and strengthened their relationship, about the times they game together, and about the evening that Austin proposed. You’ll hear their story from both sides and share in their exuberance.
Austin and Lauren were very gracious to let the FPS audience share an intimate moment in their lives. Again, I’m really happy they both found this platform to be a safe space to share such an experience. That’s what First Person Storyteller is all about.
Next week, in the final episode of 2015, you’ll hear from GamingGranny. She’s a 60 year-old grandmother who recently received an Xbox One as a birthday gift from her children. When her children left the nest, they left behind some of their old consoles, and, bored with T.V and movies, she picked up a controller and started playing. Gaining interest in the hobby has taught her valuable lessons about her kids, about herself, and about the gaming community. She’ll share some pearls of wisdom and talk about what it’s like to raise gamers and then become one later in life.
Thanks again for listening to First Person Storyteller!
