Downtime - The Mountain Bike Podcast
Katy Winton and the 2023 Enduro World Cup So Far
So it appears that a lot of you enjoyed my little pre-season Enduro World Cup chat with Katy Winton and you wanted to hear more from Katy. So here it is. We sat down to chat about the first two Enduro World Cup races of the season. Find out what it was like riding at Maydena and Derby. How did it feel to be back racing after nearly a year away from the circuit? How does the new points system work and how does that impact the results? Who performed well and who struggled in these two opening rounds. As you’ll know if you listened to the pre-season episode, Katy isn’t just a rider but also a massive fan of the sport with a great insight into what goes on. So sit back, hit play and listen to this episode with Katy Winton.

Cotic
Cotic founder, Cy Turner, makes dream bikes. The RocketMAX was his dream bike for riding in his new home of the Peak District.
The RocketMAX also fitted my dream and I've been lucky enough to be riding one since 2020. The steel frame helps the bike breathe with the terrain. At speed, the longshot geometry comes into its own, bringing a stability that allows you to really go for it. The RocketMAX also has a fun personality that means that you don't have to be going at warp speed to have a good time.
Cotic will let you choose one of their builds or specify your own dream build parts list. You can collect the bike at their brand new showroom in Chesterfield, where one of the team will help get you setup on the bike.
With regular owners rides and events and a company ethos that strives to operate in a low impact way, Cotic also gives back a good chunk of their time and profit to the riding community.
If that all sounds like your dream, then you can check them out over at cotic.co.uk
