Screen Time & Tech Addiction: How Worried Should We Be?

March 17, 2021

Over the last year, the amount of time we have all spent on screens has grown significantly. It's been less of a choice and more of a necessity. The average adult now spends around four hours per day on mobile devices or TVs, and two thirds of parents with school age children are more concerned about screen time now than they were before the pandemic.
But in a world where the way we live our lives has been completely redefined, is it even valid to spend time worrying about how long we spend looking at screens?
This episode of the Digital Download podcast explores whether we should be worried about screen time, if so how much, and what we can and should do about it. Today's guest is tech journalist and author of 'Screen Time: How to Make Peace with Your Devices and Find Your Techquilibrium' Becca Caddy.
