As you enter into the final week before the Christmas celebration, 

May God bless you with a quiet moment or two where you can ponder in your heart,

“What does it mean to claim that Jesus was born of a virgin?”

May God bless us with eyes to see where Jesus still needs to be exalted as king of kings and lord of lords

Not only in our individual lives but also in our churches, our neighborhoods, and our world at large. 

May we all understand that the story of divine conception is not one of the mother’s biology but a story of the child’s destiny:

His name will be called Jesus for he will save his people from their sins.

And when you come to understand the destiny of Jesus, may you find the courage to commit your life to him and his path of peace on earth.
