This week may God fill your heart with a deep desire to pray. 

May you experience a longing in your soul to encounter God through this great mystery. 

For those of you facing a difficult decision, may you pray with great patience,

Waiting on the peace that is beyond your understanding and comes from the Holy Spirit. 

For those of you in the middle of anxiety and fear as you think about the future, 

May you pray fiercely, believing that your prayers can produce strength for the pain ahead. 

For those of you finding yourselves at the end of your hope, at the height of loneliness or disappointment, 

May you find the courage to pray honestly, to be vulnerable before God, 

Having confidence that your prayers are not met with indifference but with compassion. 

And may all of us believe like Jesus:

That even when our expectations of prayer go unmet, 

We can choose to trust that the experience of prayer will always makes a difference 

in us, in others and in our circumstances. 

As you continue, begin or restart down the path of prayer this week, 

May God fill you with authentic hope and divine wisdom for the journey.
