In 1990, screenwriter and long time Halloween fan Daniel Ferrands set out to write the 6th entry in the Halloween series but with a revolving door of production companies, a series of complicated legal battles and several drafts of the script. It would take the film 4 years to go into production. Relative newcomer Joe Chapelle was hired to direct, altering serveral portions of the concept. On September 29th, 1995 HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MEYERS was released proving that sometimes the best laid plans can go horribly awry
