The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. 2020 will be a watershed moment for the everyone on the planet. The Covid-19 pandemic stalled the planet and shuttered businesses globally for weeks - months in some instances. Just as restrictions begin being eased in the U.S., protests over the police killing of George Floyd have erupted world wide. Fatal shootings, tear gas, brawls and looting has spread across North America, causing a number of recently opened businesses to close again. We'll discuss how black people are re-acclimating to the work environment and if their employers and colleagues are demonstrating safe health practices. We'll also examine how the riots are impacting the work environment. We hope non-white people are broadcasting their views on the unrest while on the job.
