The root of the issue with IRS scandal is the size of government. Yes, this happens under any administration, because the government is too big, and things can go on without the proper people being aware of it. Yes, man is sinful and all Presidents fail in this respect, but a big government puts massive power, especially the power to destroy, in the hands of people who, just like you and me, are tempted by power. This is not a failure of the system; this is the system, and it’s out of control. The solution is not more money for a bigger IRS as some officials are asking for. The solution is smaller government.

I asked for examples of what I call “drive-by graphics†in the last episode. These are pictures that attempt a quick rebuttal of political or social issues that completely miss the point. They argue against something folks aren’t arguing for. Those that note that Republicans didn’t get as outraged with the many deaths at embassy attacks under Bush as they are under Obama was my example of that. That’s not the issue. Well, I have another example of a drive-by graphic, this time by conservatives.
