Earlier this week, producer Adi Shankar and director Joseph Kahn put their 15 minute fan film Power/Rangers on the web. Three days later, the film has been taken off (http://www.polygon.com/2015/2/27/8119105/power-rangers-producer-response-youtube-vimeo-legal) of both YouTube and Vimeo due to copyright claims by Saban Brands and its lawyers. You can still find the movie on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1595211644045797), of which Shankar thanks for not bending to the copyright claim.

Ian is joined by The Black Box's (http://www.hhwlod.com/2013-05-03-02-12-30/the-black-box) Shawn Pryor (http://twitter.com/shawnrpryor) and Ignorant Bliss (http://ignorant-bliss.com/)' Julian Lytle (http://julianlytle.com) for this Extra Point to discuss the star-studded short in full (James Van Der Beek and Katee Sackhoff, seriously!), what some of the original Rangers (http://moviepilot.com/posts/2015/02/26/original-cast-members-react-to-the-gritty-power-rangers-reboot-that-saban-wants-banned-2731522?lt_source=external,manual) thought about the short, along with where we think the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reboot (http://screenrant.com/power-rangers-movie-release-date/) may go as a film, what fan films mean to the industry as a whole, what it takes to make a mature film versus a mature content film, and a whole lot more where that came from!
