Episode 067 – Dexter Ferguson – graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Graphic Design. While in school he did an internship at Under Armour where he learned about Brand Marketing. Also while a student he worked as a graphic designer in the Campus Recreation department where he created new promotional material. After graduating he got a job as a graphic designer. Today he is a Product Designer for Airbus Aerial. So let’s get started. Dexter can you share with our audience how you got interested in graphic design and how that interest has allowed you to get into tech?

Dexter Ferguson

Dexter is a product designer from Baltimore, MD. Starting his journey in graphic design, he has carried his experience with print and visual design into the digital space. He leverages his understanding of typography, branding, and gestalt principals to craft thoughtful user experiences that are sensitive to both form and function. Never losing sight of the big-picture, he has a knack for designing solutions that strategically balance user and business goals. With a relentless desire to stretch himself, he his looking forward to continued growth as product designer and future opportunities to solve the complex problems that user’s face.
