Procrastination is not the way to live

July 05, 2020

In today’s podcast, I talk about procrastination, how to recognize when we are doing it, why we do it, and what are some of the dangers of procrastination.
I recognize it, because I’ve been procrastinating putting this message together for over a week.  I realized that I’ve been putting it off and that for whatever reason, I had fallen victim to the evil procrastination bug.
As I thought about it, I understood, that I had a lot of reasons for my procrastination, none of them very good.  I was tired, there was so much stuff going on that I couldn’t wrap my head around it, I wasn’t happy with how the podcasts were turning out, and I just got lazy.  So I didn’t practice what I preach.
I finally decided that for this podcast series to work, I have to be me, I have to not try and impress anyone other than God because after all, it’s His work I am trying to do.  My messages have always been straight forward and to the point, no fancy theological nonsense, just the straight truth and based on lessons I have learned in life on how Jesus can help me get back up in the saddle when life has bucked me off.
So that’s the new name, how to use the Bible to stay in the saddle when life is trying to buck you off.
The Scripture for today is:  Proverbs 26:13 ,  Jonah 1:1-3,  Joshua 18:1-3,  Matthew 25:24-30, and Proverbs 6:6-11
Hope you enjoy it, and I hope each and everyone of you has a great blessed week, and I’ll see you next Sunday. Peace….
