Carnival of Randomness
Drumming Up a Podcast Episode 1: Drum Roll Please
Hello Randomers and Randomites.
People often do musician discussions. They even may go out and get themselves a bunch of guitar players and/or singers. But we here at The Carnival decided to go a bit of a different route. This week, we found ourselves some drummers, a part of the band that's sometimes overlooked, but really shouldn't be. This episode's lineup:
- Dave Cohen (Prime Time Funk, among others)
- Greg Andrews (The Brian Lindsay Band, among others)
- Rob Mount (The Lou Gramm Band, among others)
We talk drumming (obviously), their influences, stories, idols and even some stereotypes. The puns are flying and there aren't enough rim shots in the universe to handle all of it. It was a fun show and they'll be back, with even more drummers.
Stay tuned after the podcast for some music from more new friends, in a way, of The Carnival, Thick As Thieves, one of Rob's old bands. From their album Rock The House" we are proud to present "Eye of the Storm".
