About Pastor Ben: The Rev. Ben Mckelahan is an interactive artist, fairy tale writer, and Lutheran Pastor. Since he stumbled upon Lutheranism and Theatre of the Oppressed, Ben has been fascinated with how to use art and games to create a community that embodies God’s unconditional love. A west coast native, Ben graduated from Reed College in Portland, OR and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA. He very much enjoys serving the southside of Williamsburg, a neighborhood which, like him, is trying to reconcile its Anglo and Latino identity. Ben serves as the pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.Pastor Ben co hosts monthly "Dance Your Dream - A Mystical Dance Party" at St Pauls in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
