Political Special pt I: the UK’s Minority Report

April 23, 2015

It always feels like politics has a big impact on markets but right now that impact must be building toward its zenith. The two biggest issues for UK investors right now are the forthcoming UK election and the ongoing wrangles between Greece and its Eurozone partners.   With these two huge issues looming we are releasing two podcasts with Alastair, the first will be the UK election and the second will be the tensions with Greece.

To guide us through these topics we are joined by Alastair Newton, Senior Political Analyst at Nomura.  Alastair spent 20 years as career diplomat with the British Diplomatic Service. Alistair produces a periodical which he calls issues which keep me awake at night which is essential, reading for those who want to explore the impact of politics on financial markets.

Please review the podcast on iTunes and if you have any particular requests for topics to be covered then please post them on our website or on Twitter using the tag #BrewinPodcast
