Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! Well, there goes Father Bierce. At least he gave his life for what he loved...children. I mean Tedward. He was like a son to him, obviously. Tedward could not have cared less though. The group seemed as though they were definitely dead, especially since they blew up the church and had it collapse on them. Luckily, it seems there were allies nearby that fished them out of the rubble and got them to a doctor’s care quickly. Now that they are awake, they have new found powers which they will undoubtedly use for their own strange selfish purposes. However, it seems Bradley did not have such a wholesome fate. As a result, the island of R’lyeh has risen. Cthulu is coming. Who saved the group? What are their new powers? What will happen now that R’lyeh has risen? Does life created on a whim have a soul? Tune in and find out!

As mentioned, we are playing 5th edition rules, so if you’ve never played this version of the game before, listening to us will give you an idea of how it may be different from previous versions of the game. 5th edition is a great rule set to start playing the game with. Find out if there’s a local game near where you live at comic book or game stores. Hell, buy some books, buy some dice, get some food and drinks and invite your friends over to play with you for completely different experience!
