In today’s show, we will be talking with Robert B. Pojasek, Ph.D. of Pojasek & Associates LLC & Harvard University professor.

Bob Pojasek is a sustainability and sustainable development consultant doing business as Pojasek & Associates LLC. He teaches an online, action-learning course in organizational sustainability at Harvard University. His class has run for 18 years and counting.

Recently, Bob worked with some of his past students to launch The Center for Corporate Performance & Sustainability. CPS seeks to support efforts to implement the International ‘High-Level Structure” for sustainability by leveraging ISO standards and risk management frameworks.

Focus areas include: sustainable development, social responsibility, pollution prevention, resource productivity, and uncertainty risk management in organizations around the world. The Center is looking forward to releasing its first four courses this year in early September.

Prior to these activities, Bob worked as a process improvement specialist and an ISO management systems expert. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
