Adventure seems to follow Dean Karalekas around.  Originally from Canada, he has had adventures all over the world.  With a PhD in Military Sociology, Dean speaks with deep understanding about people, politics, culture, and religion.  He recently wrote a book about his experiences in Bir Tawil, on the border between Egypt and Sudan.  Bir Tawil is one of the last remaining places on earth to be considered a Terra Nullius, or unclaimed land.  His book is called The Men in No Man’s Land – A Journey in to Bir Tawil.  He also has some advice for you if you’re thinking about smuggling gold into Nepal.
