This season of A Listening Life leads us through the season of Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter that prepare us for the remembrance of Christ's death and resurrection. I invite you to join me in listening to passages from the Gospels that call us into direct conversation with Jesus as He walked among us on Earth. Imagine yourself in the middle of these stories, listening to Jesus, walking with Him, learning from Him. In the spirit of Lent, allow these Gospel narratives to lead you into self-examination and repentance, to help you remember Christ's crucifixion and resurrection with an open heart. In each episode, I will read a short passage three times, and after each time I will guide you into a time of silent listening for the Holy Spirit's instruction, or guidance, or encouragement.
