National Chief Perry Bellegarde interviews Rosalie Labilliois, co-chair of the Assembly of First Nations National Youth Council.

The two discuss the best ways to connect with young people about the importance of social distancing during the pandemic, what Rosalie has learned as an access control officer in her community during the lockdown, why it's important to have young people at the table when decisions about the future are being made, what the post-pandemic future might look like for First Nations youth, and the importance of connecting to First Nations culture and the land.

Rosalie Labillois is co-chair of the Assembly of First Nations National Youth Council and an emerging leader of the Mi’gmaq Nation from the East Coast. She is a 22 year old ‘Lnu’sgw from Gespe’gewa’gi. Currently a second year student in the Adult Mi’gmaq Immersion program in Listuguj, Quebec.
