Minisode 34 Relevant Hashtags and Name Tags

Instagram branding with filters, colors and layout. Hashtags
and Name tags should be relevant, and don’t forget to embellish your stories
with polls.

A Doctor’s Perspective, minisode. Welcome back. Alright,
today we're going to talk about the science of social media. And this can be
tips for Instagram content, the always talking about when you have the feed
certain brands, some people have like a retro theme, or to put a special filter
on all their pictures are special, like color, you know, like Brady, the but
uh, somebody who could do a really amazing job.

Like, if you look at their page, everything on the right has
the same feel for it. And the next one is a different feel. And the next one's
a different feel. But they all go together. Because it's always like that. I
don't know, I don't have that much time, or want to put that much time into it
personally, as you can see. But definitely, it looks pretty sweet. When you
take that time and do it.

Hashtags. You want to use highly relevant hashtags. You
don't have to use the 30 Max, which we didn't know you can only put 30
hashtags, but make them relevant, but be creative. You can check big brands
that you might follow or that you think other people might follow that you
would be interested in  MMOs patients and
see what they use, and then use them right. If they've been used 50,000 times,
that's a good bet that people will be following them somehow.

There's also some webpages where you type in some of the
keywords that you would think would be good. And then it'll spit out keywords
that are similar or that have also been used that are popular. So that way, you
know you can get a head start you don't have to like think of all of them. So
those are kind of cool. No hashtags on your profile description. Unless it's
for like a contest. Just don't do it.

If you have a way to tag somebody in your pictures, do it.
You can't go crazy, but you can get more likes anywhere from a half to one more
like proposed by actually tagging relevant brands. So if you're wearing a
Marmot shirt and you're hiking, maybe tag them in that and hashtag it. You
know, Steve Marmot has a hashtag that they like you to use, use it tag them, they
might give you a shout out on their page, which would boost yours away more
when you're doing stories.

Instagram stories. It's like those 15-second ones. It's nice
now if you bleed over, it'll just make another one is just cut you off like it
used to. I'm not sure if you can do this if you're not a business, but I am. So
when you do the Instagram story at the top, there are a few icons there you
have like a smiley face you that you can put hashtags, and they're active
hashtags. So definitely you want to use those like in there. You don't use one
hashtag. But if you know you're in San Diego, but in San Diego, it'll get
people in that area who follow it to see you more. You could do a Ask me
anything. And those are popular. And you just put that question on there. And
though in the comments, they'll ask you something, you can put a poll of two
choices. Those are helpful especially you're trying to segment your audience
are like what are people interested in? Do you want to see more rehab videos,
they want to see more surgeries, they want to see more like flowers and pretty
pictures of you and your family and dogs do it.
