Today's tale is told by a very special guest, Daniel Morden. Daniel shares a traditional Welsh Romani tale with a delighted audience. Recorded live at the 42nd Annual National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

This Jack Tale is about more than fish. Unlike the familiar Jack Tale with a evil giant, this story features a helpful giant. Thrill to a tale that employs threes, a greedy king, a magical horse, a golden feather, and a beautiful princess. Like many Jack Tales, Jack manages to outwit his foes, but only after his own folly leads him down a path he could have avoided. This recording also features a song by Robin Brown inspired in part by the story.
