Kute Blackson’s message is one we all need to hear. When you look at the world today, with all the craziness going on, we must acknowledge that the Government is not going to save you, your parents are not going to save you, your friends are not going to carry you forever. Bottom line: if it’s going to be…it’s going to be us. When you make that mental shift and recognize that no one owes you anything, it frees you up to stop looking outside of yourself to be saved or rescued, and it forces you to take radical responsibility for yourself and your own life in a way you’ve never done before.
